What?
The BLN Growth Forum is a networking-heavy one day event for: senior executives – founder, chair, CEO, CFO, CMO, VP Product – of ambitious growth businesses; and venture capital, private equity and institutional investors.
Experienced and successful entrepreneurs will share their war stories, frustrations, light bulb moments and insights into the critical issues around scaling a business – sales, marketing, finance, team building and exit. Equally importantly, all participants will come to share and solve their issues in a forum where you can be assured that you will be talking with peers.
There will be four main sessions over the course of the day considering markets, people, finance and sales & marketing. Additionally, alongside the core sessions, we are holding workshops for a maximum of 20 participants operating under the Chatham House Rule to consider specific issues in small focused groups.
There will be a number of additional activities over the course of the day, including investor/entrepreneur speed networking in the lunch break, designed to ensure that your time and return are maximised.
Who?
The BLN Growth Forum is produced by the Business Leaders Network, The UK’s leading community of entrepreneurs and investors in high growth businesses.
We are proud to deliver this event in partnership with BDO and Silicon Valley Bank and the event will be hosted by the newly opened Ideaspace at the Hauser Forum. Other supporters of the event include Intel Capital and media partners include IF Communications & Knowledge Peers.
Why?
We wanted to create an event that was run for the benefit of a high quality group of people who don’t get the opportunity or the time to interact together and learn from each other.
We also wanted to create an event that broke out of the usual target market of startups or public companies and actually addresses the needs of people who have created or are building decent businesses and want to take them to the next level.
We know those people don’t want to sit through endless tedious panels, be patronized or sold to. You want to learn from the experiences of people they respect and get the opportunity to spend time with their peers.
The BLN Growth Forum was created to enable owner managers and senior executives of those organisations to spend time thinking about working on, not in, their business.
When?
The BLN Growth Forum will be run on 15th July from 8.30 to 17.30
